Terms and Conditions

Please note that bookings cannot be confirmed until we receive the completed and signed booking form, together with the correct deposit. The deposit is accepted as part payment towards the total cost of your holiday. On receipt of your signed booking form together with your deposit, you will receive confirmation of your booking together with dates, full cost and balance due. The balance due must be paid on arrival in South Africa in South African Rands. Please note the exchange rate if normally better in South Africa. The price for your angling holiday is guaranteed free of any price increases or surcharges at Carp-Afrique (Your travelling expenses are not included in this guarantee).

In the event that you need to make any changes to your booking, you must advise us immediately in writing. We will endeavour to make every effort to accommodate your changes. but if you cancel, your deposit is not refundable. Late booking may be available from time to time, if you wish to book within ten weeks prior to your departure you must pay 20% deposit in Pounds Sterling when booking and the balance to be paid on arrival in South African in Rands. Your journey to and from the airports of departure is included within the package, however we accept no liability for any delays, which might result in you missing your departure, we accept no liability in you delaying the start of your angling holiday. We strongly recommend that you purchase personal travel insurance. We will not accept liability for any financial lose you may incur as a result in you not doing so.

Force Majeure; We are not liable for the loss, delay or cancellation due to the following, fire, flood, storm, closure of ports, technical / weather problems to transport, acts of God, industrial disputes, riots, strikes, political unrest and war, or any other event or circumstances beyond our control.

Jurisdiction; signature of the booking form constitutes acceptance of a contract on these terms, subject to English law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

We reserve the right to immediately terminate our services, that we are contractually obliged to provide to you or any other person in your group, if any person is put into authority, drunkenness, or the like or causing harm or discomfort to any other person, client or damage to property, we will not be liable to you or any refund or compensation for any costs or damage which you may incur.

Complaints process; in the unlikely event that any member in your group has a complaint whilst at the venue, you must notify your representative in the first instance. All unresolved complaints not dealt with at Carp-Afrique must be in writing to Carp-Afrique within seven days of your departure from Carp-Afrique.

Liability; The venue liability will be limited to the cost of the specified booking form for that person.

Our aim is to provide a high level of service to our customers. If you have specialist needs you must notify us at the time of booking. Children under the age of sixteen are our future anglers and if they are enthusiastic on their fishing, we would like to encourage them, BUT the danger of being in the close proximity to water is obvious so you must sign an agreement that clearly states that you are solely responsible for their welfare, health and safety at all times at this venue. Children aged 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

In the event that you cancel your confirmed booking, it will only be accepted in writing from the signed party leader, and will take effect from the date we receive the signed party leaders notification.
